For more than 20 years now, Dado Bargioni performs on stages around the world.Those who know him better never get surprised on his changing styles and format every now and then but, most of all, hear him change to his songs.The alessandrian songwriter has gone a long way! At the end of the 80's he presented his early compositions together with the "Soul C. Band", a group composed of 11 funky seventeeners. As years went by, aside from his innate poetic talent, Dado discovered the art of mixing sounds and fine arrangement. It is not surprising that during the last 10 years, he has been making concert tours in Italy with a band of four (The Mob), himself included.
Now here's the real treat! Dado, with his folk guitar, has chosen to run a "two men show" together with bassist Gigi Belluardo, a former The Mob member, with the help of a "diabolic" loop station to accompany the acoustic sounds of his guitar.

But what really counts in the long run are his songs. It doesn't matter how he dresses 'em up, what's important is what his songs tell us, what the words relay and how the melody touches the innermost of our being! Songs that leave us awesome sensations, like a caress on the skin, leaving signs like footprints on the sand.
Dado has ably projected and assembled this concert, and has synthesized his 2 records "Contro Copernico", 2002, and "L'Assaggio", 2009, to around 20 songs, adding a pair of pieces of illustrious songwriters who, in one way or another, greatly influenced his growth as an artist, songwriter and musician. Among the songs are some unedited pieces from the new forthcoming album "Cioccolata per le Orecchie".
During the concert, Dado Bargioni alternates the brilliant characteristic sounds of his acoustic guitar with the rough but sharp sounds of his electric guitar, then on to the light, fleeting strums on the ukulele. Gigi Belluardo ably sustains the rhythmic works of the loop station, with whom Dado lively directs with vocal and rhythmic harmony, superbly done with his strumming ability.
To sum it all up, it promises an enjoyable two hour immersion in an ocean of thoughts and sounds, that makes up 71 % of Dado Bargioni. The rest are dry lands, we already know them!
